Set up your plumber.email mailbox.

Most phones will need manual IMAP setup unless they are using the dashboard Apple profile. Use your full email address as the username and mail.b.hostedemail.com as the mail server.

Easiest iPhone setup

After signup, open your customer dashboard on the iPhone and tap Install on iPhone or Mac. iOS will install the server settings for you, then ask for the mailbox password.

POP3

Why auto setup may not find it

Apple Mail, Gmail, and Outlook do not all use the same discovery system for custom IMAP mailboxes. If automatic setup stalls, choose Other or IMAP and paste the settings above. Do not use mail.plumber.email until OpenSRS finishes branded SSL.

iPhone or iPad Mail

  1. Best path: log in to your plumber.email dashboard on the phone and tap Install on iPhone or Mac.
  2. Open the downloaded profile in Settings and approve it.
  3. Enter the mailbox password you chose at signup when Mail asks.
  4. If you set it up manually, choose Other, then Add Mail Account, then enter the IMAP and SMTP settings below.

Gmail app on Android

  1. Open Gmail, tap your profile image, then Add another account.
  2. Choose Other.
  3. Enter your full plumber.email address and pick IMAP.
  4. Use the IMAP and SMTP settings below. The username is your full email address.

Outlook mobile

  1. Open Outlook, choose Add Email Account.
  2. Enter your full plumber.email address.
  3. If automatic setup does not finish, choose IMAP.
  4. Use the IMAP and SMTP settings below. The username is your full email address.
